About Us
We believe everyone should have the chance to experience the joy of music-making, no matter their age, abilities, background, or experience level. That’s why we bring instruments to schools, nonprofit organizations, 55+ communities, public events, and more, setting up what we call Miss LaLa's Instrument Petting Zoo. It’s a space where anyone can try to play an instrument with simple instructions from a volunteer, or even create ensembles together —
no lessons, no pressure, just curiosity and fun.

We put our heart into every event, but that includes our VOLUNTEERS. We prepare the necessary items and transport them to the location, but we need extra hands to be a joyful presence at each instrument. More than anything, we love seeing someone’s face light up the first time they make a sound they didn’t know they could create. Then if they decide to do more with music, we help connect them in their area, or even cover fees for school ensembles if they need assistance.​​​
It's about ACCESS - CONFIDENCE - CONNECTION - THRILL OF DISCOVERY - ENJOYING THE PRESENT.

Instrument Petting Zoo
Everyone is a musician with us!
An instrument petting zoo offers a hands-on, joyful musical experience for people of all ages & abilities—whether in schools, camps, organizations, or events. Each session is flexible and can include a mix of instrument exploration, singing, hand bell ensemble play, percussion jams, and theater games that nurture creativity and communication skills. Whether it's a 45-minute focused workshop or a rotation of activities with multiple groups, participants can touch and even play instruments based on time, group size, and space. It's ideal for students discovering their interests, team-building for staff, or for bringing joy, confidence, and positive social connection to those who are struggling in life. These experiences can help prepare the next generation and help heal this one.
