About Us
We believe everyone should have the chance to experience the joy of music—no matter their age, abilities, background, or experience level. That’s why we bring instruments into neighborhoods, parks, schools, and community centers, setting up what we call “instrument petting zoos.” It’s a space where anyone can walk up, pick up an instrument, and try it out—no lessons, no pressure, just curiosity and fun.
Our team puts their heart into every event. We spend hours tuning, cleaning, setting up, and talking with visitors—because we know that even a few minutes with a drum or a flute can spark something lasting. Everyone on the team brings years of experience with music, education, and/or community work, and we love what we do. More than anything, we love seeing someone’s face light up the first time they make a sound they didn’t know they could create.
This is about access. About joy. About the simple thrill of discovering sound for the first time. And we’re here to keep making that moment happen—again and again.
Instrument Petting Zoos
Everyone is a musician with us
An instrument petting zoo offers a hands-on, joyful musical experience for people of all ages—whether in schools, camps, classes, or events. Each session is flexible and can include a mix of instrument exploration (with over six instruments to choose from), singing, hand bell ensemble play, percussion jams, and theater games that nurture creativity and communication skills. Whether it's a 45-minute focused workshop or a rotating activity with multiple groups, participants can touch, try, and even play instruments based on time, group size, and space. Ideal for students discovering their musical interests, team-building for staff, or bringing joy to preschools, seniors, and special education groups, every experience includes a set of hand bells gifted to the organization to continue their musical journey.
